Most Sacks in a Season: 18.5

The 18.5 sacks posted by Von Miller in the 2012 season is a big number, but with an extra game,  could be approached, especially if a guy can put together a couple of multiple-sack games.

Miller is still on the roster and considered by most to be the best pass-rusher on the team but could the younger Bradley Chubb be a more likely candidate to actually break this record?

Probably.

Chubb is coming off of a Pro-Bowl season and seems ready to become the team’s pass-rushing leader as Miller steps into the kind of role that DeMarcus Ware had when he was with the team. Still effective, but not the top dog that he used to be.

Of course, this is Miller that we are talking about, so would it surprise anyone to see Miller come back after missing all of last season and break that record himself?

It would take a great defensive season, as only three players in team history have ever had more than 15 sacks in a season. But that extra game could change things and with guys like Miller and Chubb on the roster, the number of 18.5 is within reach.
