Most Receiving Yards: 1,619

This one will not be easy to catch by any means, but it is a possibility as well with an extra game on the docket.

Demaryius Thomas has three of the top five receiving yardage seasons in Broncos history and in 2014, he had 1,619 yards through the air. Of course, he had the benefit of catching passes from Peyton Manning.

Thomas’ 1,619 yards rank at No. 19 on the NFL’s all-time list for a single season and just edged out the 1,602 yards that Smith had during a brilliant 2000 campaign. Do the Broncos have a player who could currently achieve this?

It would have to be either Sutton or Jerry Jeudy and in the case of Jeudy, he would have to really break out following an average rookie season. However, if both players can stay healthy, the opportunity definitely exists.

But the only reason this record would fall, at least this season, would be because of the extra game, and even at that, a player would have to average nearly 100 yards receiving per game. Since Thomas posted this mark, only three guys have had more receiving yards in a season (Julio Jones, Antonio Brown and Michael Thomas).
