Which Denver Broncos will win team awards in 2021?

The Denver Broncos are expecting to have a big year in 2021 with their healthy roster intact. If key players remain healthy, and the quarterback position (Teddy Bridgewater) plays well enough, the sky’s the limit for this team.

I won’t go as far as saying that this team is a Super Bowl contender, but just making it into the playoffs would be an improvement from the last five seasons.

If the Broncos do make it to the playoffs in 2021, team awards should be issued. We will be focusing on six awards: Team MVP, Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, Offensive and Defensive rookies of the Year, and Comeback Player of the Year.

Several players fit each of these categories.

After reading, leave a comment about who you think will be the team’s MVP as well as who will be the defensive MVP.

Team MVP

Von Miller

Von Miller is coming back from an ankle injury that forced him to miss the 2020 season, but in limited action in the preseason, the future Hall of Fame player looked to be back to his old self.

Over his career, Miller has averaged 11.7 sacks per season. He eclipsed 100 sacks for his career in 2019, which was his most recent regular season action. I just believe that Vic Fangio, Ed Donatell and Miller will figure out how to get the former second-overall pick back to form.

Even though Miller is on the other side of 30-years old, he’s still an important player on the Denver Broncos.

One of the keys to getting back into playoff form is to have all or most of your core players stay healthy for the season. The Broncos have a chance to do that with both Miller and Bradley Chubb returning as edge rushers.

Other Candidates: Kyle Fuller, Jerry Jeudy, Justin Simmons
