2. Sign FA Mitchell Schwartz, OL (Chiefs)

Mitchell Schwartz was released by the Chiefs this offseason (and if you forget, the Chiefs got blown out in the Super Bowl by 86 year old Tom Brady) and has been recovering from an apparent back injury.

Schwartz hasn’t totally ruled out a return to the NFL, but he’s been nursing a back injury for a while and doesn’t exactly look like he’s rushing to return.

However, the Denver Broncos should still call his agency to see if he’d be interested.

He’d be the best right tackle on the roster, and would probably take the starting job at some point after learning the offense and getting fully healthy.

Plus, Calvin Anderson, who the team still appears to be high on, would be able to watch one of the better right tackles in the NFL in recent memory do his thing.

Not only that, signing Schwartz would give the team the deepest OL crew in the league, giving Mike Munchak loads of talent to mold.

Schwartz probably doesn’t solve the right tackle issue for the long-term, but he’d be a fun signing and would make the Broncos much better.
