(43/53)

These are no doubt the best eight linebackers on the roster. Amazing that two of them are rookies, right? It goes to show that the Denver Broncos are great at drafting talent.

Cooper became a lock to make the team very early on after he made play after play during training camp and in all three preseason games this year as a rookie. If you’re one of those people who doesn’t watch preseason games, I highly suggest you find a replay of them and single out Cooper.

Alexander Johnson and Josey Jewell won’t get cut as they are the starters at inside linebacker. Strnad and Browning were drafted recently to make sideline-to-sideline plays and they have shown that they’re very good at doing that.

I don’t believe Barrington Wade made enough plays to make his case for the 53-man roster.

Derrek Tuszka also may not have done enough either, as he was initially placed behind Cooper at outside linebacker on the team’s depth chart. both Wade and Tuszka may be considered for the team’s practice squad.
