Courtland Sutton is coming off a torn ACL that forced him to miss the entire 2020 season, so Patrick, Jeudy and Hamler are going to see plenty of work. Those four wide receivers are locks to make the Broncos roster.

Trinity Benson has impressed coaches throughout training camp and the preseason, so it’s almost a guarantee that he is safe from facing the chopping block on Tuesday. Benson’s emergence on special teams and his ability to play on offense could prove to be bad news for a guy like Diontae Spencer, who isn’t much help on offense.

While his six catches for 63 yards on offense wasn’t a big deal, Tyrie Cleveland played well on special teams as a rookie in 2020. The Broncos have several players who can return kicks and punts, including cornerback Bryce Callahan. Whether or not Cleveland makes the roster will depend on how much they like him as a return man.

We’ll have to see how much the bottom three wide receivers do on offense with Teddy Bridgewater as the starting quarterback.
