3. Nickell Robey-Coleman, CB

Nickell Robey-Coleman is entering his 9th year in the NFL, and he’s had some solid stretches of play.

I remember how solid he was during his time with the Rams, and perhaps he’d be useful for Denver.

Robey Coleman is small, standing at just 5’8″, so he makes his money as a slot corner.

With the uncertainty of Bryce Callahan, Robey-Coleman would, at the very least, elevate the floor of the secondary.

The common theme with these trade scenarios is the players can be had for rather cheap.

In the NFL, you win with solid depth.  The Buffalo Bills are a prime example of this; they have exceptional depth and were a win away from the Super Bowl last year.

Considering the Broncos have added a lot of quality depth during this offseason, why stop?

Sure, the acquisitions during this time aren’t going to be sexy, but they help round out the roster, would could prove to be crucial come December and January.
