Defensive Line – 6 (34/53)

  • Shelby Harris
  • Dre’Mont Jones
  • Mike Purcell
  • DeShawn Williams
  • Shamar Stephen
  • McTelvin Agim

There is not a whole lot to say about this position group, frankly.

I wonder if the Denver Broncos would be looking into ways they could possibly add a veteran or two to the practice squad after roster cuts are official.

There are also players like Geno Atkins out there if they are interested in making a bigger splash.

One way or another, I would like to see the Denver Broncos upgrade their depth here, and veteran practice squad additions could be the way to go. Nobody is likely to take a 53-man roster spot from any of these six guys at this point in time, and they’re all healthy.

Seventh-round pick Marquiss Spencer is a very likely practice squad addition who we haven’t heard much from so far in preseason play.

Isaiah Mack and Jonathan Harris have gotten quite a bit of work in preseason action, but neither has made enough of an impression to make the roster.
