Branden Mack, Wide receiver

A once overcrowded wide receiver room for the Broncos has begun to thin out and when rosters are cut down to 80 players, the Broncos will likely let another one go.

It seems that six wide receivers will make the roster with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler and Tim Patrick all being guaranteed spots. Trinity Benson has made a great case and the last spot will come down to either Tyrie Cleveland, Kendall Hinton or Seth Williams.

Branden Mack could be the odd man out and that could help make room for those three players to have one more chance to showcase their talent in the preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams.

De’Mornay Pierson-El could also be listed here but the team seems to see potential in him as a return man and could be grooming him for a spot on the practice squad. The same could be said for Mack, who basically  has no chance to make the final roster at this point so if he doesn’t get cut now, he’ll be cut next Tuesday.
