Nolan Laufenberg, Offensive lineman

Undrafted free agent Nolan Laufenberg was signed following the  draft when the Broncos had numerous questions along the offensive line. Most all of those questions have been answered as the Broncos appear to have a solid starting five and good rotational pieces as well.

Laufenberg has been left out of those rotations and has seen very limited playing time during the preseason so it seems a good bet that he’ll be among Tuesday’s cuts.

Quinn Meinerz and Netane Muti are young prospects that have some growing to do but both are clearly part of the team’s future plans. There just really isn’t any room for a guy like Laufenberg to crack the roster.

Laufenberg was born in Castle Rock and grew up a Broncos fan, so he’s already lived his dream and likely went further than he probably ever thought he would. As an  Air Force guy, he’ll have something great to fall back on if the football thing doesn’t work.
