4. Baron Browning, LB (no. 56)
This one comes with a bit of an asterisk as there’s no guarantee that Browning will play after just recently coming off of the PUP (physically unable to perform) list.
With that said, the coaching staff left the door open for Browning to play in this game and it would be a lot of fun to see the rookie get his feet wet.
Coming out of Ohio State, Browning showed tremendous three-down ability whether that was playing in coverage, playing the run, or rushing the passer.
There was an element of consistency missing from his game that likely caused him to last until the final pick of day two of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Denver Broncos, as a result, got one of the most athletic playmakers in the 2021 rookie class and a truly historic athlete at the linebacker position in Browning for a significantly discounted rate compared to what everyone thought he was going to go for.
It would be a lot of fun to see Browning get some run even if it’s just as a pass rusher.
The Denver Broncos tried out Jonathon Cooper some at the off-ball linebacker position so why not get Browning some looks off the edge?
