Wide receiver (6): Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler, Tim Patrick, Trinity Benson, Tyrie Cleveland

The Broncos have had four players locked in at wide receiver since the offseason began with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler and Tim Patrick. Those four guys will make the team and all four should be integral pieces of the offense.

Trinity Benson has been perhaps the biggest surprise for the Broncos this summer and is well on his way to making the team. If the team keeps six wide receivers, that last spot is up in the air. As of now, it goes to Tyrie Cleveland, though he has work to do in order to cement that.

Guys like Kendall Hinton and sixth-round pick Seth Williams could end up upstaging Cleveland over the course of the final two preseason games. The Broncos clearly see something in Cleveland as he was given opportunities as a rookie and saw some early snaps in the team’s preseason opener.

Wide receiver was the team’s deepest position heading into training camp and the coaching staff still has some evaluating to do. However, there is almost no doubt that the player who would be the biggest help on special teams will likely earn the sixth spot.

That leaves the door open for Diontae Spencer and his abilities as a return man.
