Tyrie Cleveland,  Wide receiver

Cleveland is one of the biggest question marks on the team at this point. The Broncos seem to like him, but there may be better options at the position.

One thing working against him is the fact that Trinity Benson is making this team. That would make five recevers already accounted for with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, K.J. Hamler and Tim Patrick.

The Broncos likely only keep six wideouts.

Many likely believe that the sixth guy would be Cleveland, but that  is far from set in stone. He received some early reps against the Vikings, but didn’t do much with them.  He can help as a kick returner, but Benson could cancel him out there.

The Broncos also have sixth-round choice Seth Williams and Kendall Hinton fighting for a roster spot, so it is not just going to be handed to Clevelane. He is going to have to do something to stand out over the next two to three weeks if he wants to be part of the team.

If not, he may face a demotion to the practice squad and have to work his way back up.

But the Broncos do seem to like him and see something there and in the end of the preseason, he will have done just enough to stick around.
