On a night where Diontae Spencer was not playing, Trinity Benson shined. This is more about how well Benson played tonight. Sometimes you can lose, despite not doing anything wrong.

Trinity Benson looked impressive tonight, much like his whole offseason. Spencer is banged up with a knee issue right now, but Benson’s rise should create some worry for Spencer. While the Denver Broncos have their top four-set, the final three are in fog.

Trinity Benson looked like he could fit the role Diontae Spencer has been playing for the Denver Broncos. He also looked like a more polished wide receiver. Spencer is a fine player but hasn’t made quite the impact offensively that Benson did tonight.

This wide receiver room could now boast five players locked in Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Tim Patrick, and Trinity Benson. It is getting tight in that room.
