KJ Hamler, WR

Much like Benson, Hamler had himself a day.

After six and a half minutes of play, KJ Hamler had 105 receiving yards and a touchdown on two receptions. Lock found Hamler screaming down the middle of the field for an 80-yard touchdown that really started the avalanche that has occurred in Broncos Country.

This offense saw Teddy Bridgewater throw a similar completion to Hamler in the practice against the Vikings earlier this week, now everyone has seen what that looked like from Drew Lock.

Lock and Hamler seem to have chemistry attacking the deep middle of the field dating back to last season’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

Hamler also beat his man in the first quarter on a third and four, but Lock had his one misfire of the day. There was an offside penalty against the Vikings, but overall Hamler ran a very clean route.

KJ showed today what this offense could look like with his playmaking abilities. Being able to hit in stride, 58 yards downfield will really unleash the potential of Hamler and his abilities.
