2. CJ Henderson for Bryce Callahan and a pick

Perhaps the most sensible trade from the Jacksonville Jaguars’ perspective is if the two parties come together on a CJ Henderson deal would be somewhat of an NBA-style trade.

In this scenario, the Denver Broncos acquire Henderson in exchange for a decent draft pick plus cornerback Bryce Callahan. This would allow the Jaguars to recoup a draft asset for Henderson as well as add a player like Callahan who would be a worthwhile one-year rental for them.

In exchange for Henderson plus the absorption of the final year of Callahan’s contract, the Jaguars might be able to convince the Denver Broncos to slightly sweeten the pot.

Callahan is a very good player and someone the team obviously plans on being a vital part of the defense.

With that being said, it’s possible the Denver Broncos could use either Callahan or Kyle Fuller to make a trade for a younger, cheaper player who is under contract longer than this year.

If you can trade one and still keep the other? That’s not a bad idea to at least consider.

This would be a tougher trade for the Denver Broncos because again, it makes more sense for the Jaguars to get a good player and draft pick in return, but if the Broncos’ scouting department liked Henderson enough, they might be willing to do it.
