The Denver Broncos got a breakout season in 2020 from defensive end Dre’Mont Jones, who managed to put together a fantastic overall season despite missing a handful of games due to an injury.

The emergence of Jones could soon be followed by a breakout season from fellow former third-round pick McTelvin Agim.

Agim was a third-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, one year after the Denver Broncos selected Jones out of Ohio State. It was one of John Elway’s consistent NFL Draft habits to spend at least one top 100 pick on a defensive front seven player (mainly DL or EDGE) on an annual basis.

Agim turned out to be his final selection of that type and he’s having a breakout training camp.

More than almost any other defensive lineman or edge player, Agim has drawn rave reviews for how he has consistently shown up in training camp as a pass rusher or pass disruptor, getting his hand up in the throwing lanes and causing havoc that way.

The type of impact Agim is having will almost undoubtedly make him one of the top guys off the sideline for the Denver Broncos on the defensive line in 2021.
