Although his time on the field in college at Fresno State was limited, Netane Muti was considered one of the best offensive line prospects in the entire 2020 NFL Draft class.

An absolute tank who played both left tackle and left guard for the Bulldogs, Muti entered the NFL with some seriously impressive tape in college but a pretty significant red flag when it came to his injury issues.

Fortunately for the Denver Broncos, he stayed completely healthy through his rookie season and was actually able to get onto the field against the Carolina Panthers for a very fun start late last year.

Heading into the 2021 offseason, Muti has been penciled in behind veteran Graham Glasgow as well as incumbent left guard Dalton Risner, but he’s been impressing the coaching staff so far in training camp and getting some opportunities to work with the first team at the right guard position, whether Graham Glasgow was getting a vet rest day or they were just rotating him in.

At this point, it seems clear that Muti has a legitimate shot to start sooner rather than later. The Broncos like his progression and they are obviously very pleased with the fact that he’s been available when it comes to his health.
