Madden 22 presents a new feature to the game that gives teams a unique advantage.

The time is almost is here for fans to get their hands on the new EA Sports Madden 22 video game. Madden has always found new ways to bring realistic, yet entertaining, features to the game, whether it was as terrible as the rewind button that allowed a play to be replayed or as amazing as the hit stick that brought more head turns.

However, this Madden feels different with pressure from fans calling out the game that has been around since 1989 for being a $60 roster update. Madden responded with a bunch of new features including one that is personalized per team.

Home-field advantage.

In any sport, the difference between a win and a loss could come down to the fans and finally, Madden has added that to this year’s game. Each team has its own home-field advantage that gives the away team a disadvantage in hopes to bring a more realistic environment to Madden 22.

Despite this unique feature, it has some wondering if Madden got it right when it comes to the Denver Broncos home-field advantage.

When it comes to the AFC West and home-field advantage, it’s clear that Denver is the champion in that category, and no, it’s not bias, it’s facts.

With the exception of the pandemic season last year, the Denver Broncos has had more attendance than the other three AFC West teams, usually finishing top 5 in the league. So it’s only right that they offer the better home-field advantage of the four, which also is the most accurate home-field advantage.

The away team players having less stamina during plays is truly what playing in Empower Field at Mile High is like. Denver is 5,280 feet above sea level, which often causes the away team troubles when it comes to adapting to its high altitude, therefore an accurate advantage is given from Madden.

Fans can pre-order Madden 22 now, and EA Sports will offer a 10 hour trial for fans to try out the game on August 12th before it drops on August 20th.
