With the beginning of the 2021 NFL season quickly approaching, the Denver Broncos should consider a few free agents to fill out the rest of their roster.
The Denver Broncos already have a loaded roster, but there are still some quality free agents who could help make the team stronger. Let’s dive into five of those players.
Denver Broncos FAs to consider: Tyler Eifert, TE
The Broncos’ tight end room is already very good, but they lack a true veteran presence. Both Noah Fant and Albert Okwuegbunam make a scary athletic duo, but they are young and lack NFL experience. Tyler Eifert not only gives you 74 games of NFL experience but also presents as a low-risk, high-reward signing.
Eifert broke into the league in 2015, as he compiled 615 yards, 13TDs, and a Pro Bowl nod. He’s battled injuries his entire career, only playing in 14 games in a three-year stretch from 2016-2018, but has appeared in 31 games in the last two years for the Bengals and Jaguars.
Eifert is exactly the type of free agent a team like the Broncos should take a chance on. The Broncos do not have any significant holes and have the ability to sign luxury free agents to see if they can produce.
I think adding a veteran presence like Eifert to the tight end room would be a very solid addition to the team.
