Dre’Mont Jones 69 to 75 (+6)
Dre’Mont Jones is projected to have quite a year for the Denver Broncos and his +6 Madden upgrade is proof that it’s not just Broncos fans and the team that believe he has improved.
A jump in awareness is a big part of Jones’ rating increase in Madden 22. Last season, Jones had an awareness rating of 69. In Madden 22, it jumps to an 80 overall. The Broncos let DeMarcus Walker leave in free agency to the Houston Texans, allowing Jones to earn more playing time. He has proven in training camp this year why he should get that playing time.
Tackling: 81 to 84
Hit Power: 78 to 80
Power Moves: 64 to 68
Big things are in store for Jones, who becomes a big piece along the defensive line, alongside Shelby Harris, DeShawn Williams, McTelvin Agim, Jonathan Harris, Isaiah Mack, Shamar Stephen, and others.
Jones has received praise from several key figures in the Broncos organization, most notably outside linebacker Von Miller. Miller said that Jones is “the most explosive defensive tackle I’ve played next to in my entire career.”
Broncos general manager George Paton said that Jones is a breakout player. That absolutely is a real possibility in 2021. This defense is designed to get to the quarterback. If everybody can stay healthy, Jones will have the best opportunity to get sacks.

Denver Broncos: Bridgewater sees himself as mentor to Lock, Rypien
New Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is competing for the starting job, but has no problem being a mentor to Drew Lock and Brett Rypien.
Jones’ potential is exciting and Broncos Country should keep both eyes on him for 2021 and for years to come. Madden 22 players should have a lot of fun using Jones.
