Denver Broncos: Top-7 highest-rated players in Madden 22
Cornerback Bryce Callahan
Bryce Callahan was rewarded as a top-5 rated player on the Denver Broncos in Madden 22. Rating adjusters gave him an overall rating of 86.
Many people view Callahan as the team’s top cornerback and while ratings don’t necessarily show it, it very well could be true. We will see what happens this upcoming season.
Let’s get onto the ratings, shall we?
Callahan can move. He can move fast. Experts see this and have rewarded him with a speed rating of 93! Watch out, fast receivers! Callahan is capable of staying with receivers deep.
In 2020, Callahan allowed just 54.4 percent of his targets. He played in 10 games.
I am surprised that Callahan’s awareness rating is only 89. Being in Vic Fangio’s defense for more of his career, you would think that his awareness of everything would be quite a few points higher. This specifically should put a chip on his shoulder heading into 2021.
Callahan missed his first season with the Broncos due to a foot injury and also missed six games in 2020 as I mentioned above. Madden has given him an injury rating of 87, which makes sense. His stamina rating is also 87.
The biggest question people will ultimately have with Callahan in 2021 is whether or not he can and will stay healthy. The Broncos are counting on it.
Some of the higher ratings Madden 22 has given Callahan include:
Jumping: 96
Man Coverage: 85
Zone Coverage: 89
Press Coverage 89
