While the Denver Broncos just concluded day three of training camp, all the buzz has been surrounded about the quarterback competition, but after Friday’s practice, Jerry Jeudy was getting some serious recognition for his play.
With Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater battling to be QB1 for this season, there has been one thing in common between the two throughout the practices and that is Jeudy. It seems like both quarterbacks are finding a lot of success with him down the field and that should not be a surprise. It is known that Bridgewater and Jeudy have a great connection this early into camp but Lock has found his strike with him as well.
Jeudy is poised to have a breakout year for the Broncos and become the superstar he is supposed to be. He showed today that he’s ready to make that statement and teammates have been acknowledging it first-hand. Ronald Darby and Bryce Callahan are two of the many players that have praised him over the last three days saying Jeudy is “explosive and special.” Darby mentioned that he likes going against him because it makes him a better player too.
Jeudy even recently tweeted, “2000,” the other day on Twitter. We can all imagine what this means and it is very possible he can reach 2,000 yards receiving. His route-running, the ability to create separation, speed, and more aspects of his game can translate to him reaching his goal.

Jeudy had some terrific plays again on day three according to media members via Twitter. He has been practicing extremely well ever since OTAs until now. There has been nothing short of constant praise and recognition of what Jeudy has been doing on the practice field. We can all agree that if there has been one consistent “winner” throughout training camp, Jeudy is on the top of that list.
Everyone that has talked about Jeudy has mentioned that he has been emerging as a star in the making this offseason. With Courtland Sutton returning from injury, this will benefit both of them, but more Jeudy as he will be covered by the second best cornerback in most of the games. In his rookie season last year, he was a problem since day one for cornerbacks with his ability to create separation.
It seems like Jeudy has been way more consistent on hauling in the ball this offseason. It was a minor issue throughout the season last year but Jeudy made the necessary changes he had to make and has looked tremendous throughout training camp.
Jeudy is a superstar in the making for the Broncos and he will look to prove it this year. Here are some reactions from media members at training camp:

Jerry Jeudy is slicing and dicing CBs today…nearly broke Bryce Callahans ankles on a fake inside that he took up the sideline for a big play and then blazed past Surtain a few plays later on a crossing route for a 25 yard completion. #Broncos @KOAColorado

Jerry Jeudy already making noise. Got wide open 15 yards in the middle of the field and Drew hit him. Then Jeudy pumped up the crowd. Maybe the loudest they’ve been all camp

Jerry Jeudy had an incredible juke move coming out of a break to shake a corner. Turned a routine 10-yard catch into potential huge play.
