Tight end: Austin Fort

Noah Fant and Albert Okwuegbunam are going to make this team and be the tight ends of the future in Denver, but the team will need a No. 3 option and there isn’t much left.

Fort is a solid sleeper because in the little action that we have seen of him, he actually looked pretty good. He has had some major trouble with knee injuries in his young career that he will have to put behind him but the opportunity is definitely there.

The only other tight ends on the roster are Eric Saubert and undrafted free agent Shaun Beyer. Either of those guys could make this spot as well but Fort seems to have the most upside.

Undrafted out of Wyoming in 2019. During a preseason game that summer, he had 87 yards and a touchdown against the Seattle Seahawks before tearing his ACL following a reception later in the game.

That injury carried over into the 2020 season and Fort ended up missing the entire year. But rather than give up on him and release him, the Broncos have kept him around. That shows the team believes in him and he could get the chance to stick around longer with a big summer.
