The comeback player award was either going to Von or Courtland Sutton, but I believe Von has the edge here.

The Broncos are prepared to field one of the most talented defenses in the NFL, and for just the second time, we will get to see both Miller and Bradley Chubb play alongside each other.

For those who forget, the last time these two ran together was in 2018, and they combined for 26.5 sacks.

Consider that Chubb was a rookie in 2018, so he’s surely a more confident player, and also consider the defensive talent difference between 2018 and 2021.

While Von is getting up in age, there are a plethora of players in the league–at all positions, who are 30 plus and producing at a high level.  Personally, I’m not going to let Von’s age get in the way of what I think he can do.

Von has had consistent success in this league, and has bounced back from injuries before, so why can’t he do it again?
