Denver Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb underwent ankle surgery this offseason This comes after he missed the final two games of the 2020 season.

The surgery was to remove a bone spur.

With that, however, comes good news: Chubb recently acknowledged that he is feeling very good. That is really great news as training camp is right around the corner.

This from Troy Renck:

As Renck predicts, it would be a great thing if Chubb can make a comeback, even bigger than the comeback he made last year. In 2020, Chubb had 7.5 sacks in his comeback from a torn ACL he suffered in his second season.

While his 7.5 sacks aren’t completely up to his standards, it was still an impressive season for the 2018 first-round draft pick. He had the chance to get his feet wet after missing a bunch of time while rehabbing.

As Ben Swanson of DenverBroncos.com believes, Chubb does have the ability to become the team’s MVP in 2021.

It is great news that Chubb feels so good following that injury. It is even better that he and Von Miller have a shot at playing an entire year together. That will be absolutely crucial in the team’s success on the defensive side of the ball.

Obviously, the quarterback position will be the most popular topic among Broncos Country, but keep an eye on the progress Chubb has made and will continue to make.

The Denver Broncos are expected to put Chubb, as well as Miller, on snap counts—at least to start the season. That will end up being a smart move on their part, as they will need to keep the two defensive stars fresh to hopefully stay healthy for the entire 2021 season.

Unfortunately, last season consisted of many players going down with season-ending injuries because of the weird offseason program. Hopefully, 2021 will be about adjusting to changes that will be made—resulting in less severe injuries to players all across the league.
