The continued improvement of Garett Bolles

Denver Broncos left tackle Garett Bolles has had an interesting career, which began when he was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

It wasn’t until 2020 that fans finally got to see what type of player he can be. In his rookie year, Bolles committed 15 total penalties. The following year, was 13. In 2019, he committed a career-high 17 penalties.

Then came 2020, when he had just seven.

The Broncos initially declined Bolles’ fifth-year option, making everybody believe that his time with the team was over following the season.

Psych.

The Broncos ended up signing Bolles to a massive contract extension, giving him the keys to the starting left tackle position for the next four seasons.

On behalf of Broncos Country far and wide, we would like to thank offensive line coach Mike Munchak for turning an apparent first-round bust into a player that we are excited to watch grow as he continues his career in Denver.
