Jesse James

Jesse James would provide a big target for the Broncos at 6-foot-7 and one with six years of NFL experience. After spending the last two seasons with the Detroit Lions, he is looking for work.

James was taken in the fifth round of the 2015 draft by the Pittsburgh  Steelers. He never panned out there the way they hoped he would as he was drafted as the guy to replace Heath Miller, who was tremendous in Pittsburgh.

James has 150 career receptions and has found the end zone 11 times. But after catching just 30 passes in two seasons with the Lions, it’s not a big surprise that he remains unsigned.

In Denver as the No. 3 option, he could be a guy who could spell Fant and/or Okwuegbunam and he could also contribute in the red zone due to his size.

James just turned 27 years old so he should still have some good football years left in him if he can get into the right system.
