1. October 5, 2014- vs. Arizona Cardinals
Manning and Thomas had some incredible games together, but they were clicking on all cylinders on this October day in Denver in which they just torched the Cardinals.
Thomas made eight receptions in this game, but he made them count as he gained 226 yards through the air and scored two touchdowns. It’s one of those games where if you had Thomas on your fantasy football team that day, you were pretty happy.
It seemed like every time you looked up, Thomas was hauling in a long pass and doing something big with it.
Thomas had a 31-yard touchdown catch in the game before snagging one that went for 86 yards. It all led to a career day and a franchise-record as his 226 yards were (and still are) the most ever by a Bronco in one game.
Thomas broke the record of Shannon Sharpe of 214 yards which he set in 2002 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
There were many great performances to choose from as Thomas ended his career ranked second in most categories on the team’s all-time receiving list. He was an incredible player, one who will be remembered for many years to come.
