Bradley Chubb, Outside Linebacker

Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb is on a mission. He is on a mission to prove any doubters wrong. Why, you ask?

Chubb missed 16 games over the last two seasons, 14 of which came during the 2019 season after he tore his ACL.

While Vic Fangio recently stated that Chubb, as well as Von Miller, could be on snap counts to start the season, can they really afford to put them on that many snap counts to where they can’t show their true potential?

I don’t buy it.

Typically, it is said that players just are not the same after they return from injury. In 2020, while it was not quite like his rookie season in 2018, Chubb still put up 7.5 sacks in 14 games for the team.

I anticipate quarterbacks having plenty of trouble and holding onto the football a lot longer now against the Denver Broncos, as the team addressed the cornerback position with Ronald Darby and Kyle Fuller this offseason. Those two additions should really help Chubb have more opportunities to get to the quarterback.

It is going to be a fun year for the fifth-overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft.
