Defensive lineman Deyon Sizer

Deyon Sizer was an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State-Pueblo in 2019. He has yet to see action for the Denver Broncos in a regular season game.

Sizer has spent time on the team’s practice squad, and has only three tackles—in preseason action.

The Denver Broncos have a crowded defensive line room with Shelby Harris, Mike Purcell, DeShawn Williams, McTelvin Agim, Dre’Mont Jones, Marquiss Spencer, Jonathon Harris, Isaiah Mack, and Shamar Stephen.

Shelby Harris, Purcell, Williams, and Jones are locks, with Mack and Stephen likely getting roster spots as free agent pickups.  If Sizer has not seen action in a game yet, I’m not so sure that he will.

It also depends partially on how many defensive linemen the Broncos want to keep on the 53-man roster. With the extended practice squad rules, we may see Sizer continue to develop on the practice squad for now. Or, if they need a spot for somebody else, maybe Sizer will end up being out of Denver for good.

Sizer had ten sacks during his collegiate career at Colorado State University-Pueblo.

I just feel that Sizer’s odds are stacked against him with the additions the team has made despite him already being on the roster.
