As Peyton Manning is set to become the 35th member of the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame, he will join the ranks of Denver’s greatest stars this October. In his legendary ride with the Broncos, he shattered multiple passing records, won MVP, and took his team to two Super Bowls, winning one. In just four years he made a historic impact on this city and will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame as well this year.

However, unlike the Hall of Fame, the Ring of Fame does not necessarily admit members every year.

These nominations usually come around after an all-time great clears the customary five-year waiting period, or when their contributions to the team have been recognized years later.
