There will be plenty of opportunities along the revamped line of the Broncos and though Drew Himmelman is a guy who won’t get much attention heading into training camp, but he could quietly work his way into a rotational spot.

The Broncos will likely keep eight or even nine offensive linemen, with the following names being good bets to be there: Garett Bolles, Dalton Risner, Bobby Massie, Lloyd Cushenberry, Graham Glasgow, Quinn Meinerz and Netane Muti. Calvin Anderson and Cameron Fleming should also have a good shot to make it.

But if a guy like Fleming were to underperform, Himmelman is a cheap option to keep instead. Undrafted out of Illinois State, Himmelman is a massive player at 6-foot-9 and if Mike Munchak can get the most out of him, he could be an intriguing option going forward.

Though he is a long shot to make the team or really have any major impact at the next level, the Broncos clearly saw something in him following the draft as the $110,000 signing bonus they gave him was the most they awarded to any undrafted player.

Himmelman is definitely a player to keep tabs on this summer.
