6. Luring Aaron Rodgers

If the goal is to get Aaron Rodgers to zero in on the Denver Broncos if he’s demanding a trade, having Julio Jones around certainly would not hurt your cause.

Rodgers has allegedly spoken to a number of players around the league about joining him if he leaves Green Bay, why not Jones in Denver?

Imagining the potential of Julio Jones and Aaron Rodgers joining the Denver Broncos, even at this stage in their careers, is certainly of the fantasy variety.

There’s no question that what the Denver Broncos currently have in place would be enough to get Rodgers in town. As a side note, someone will have to let Mark Schlereth know that the Denver Broncos’ roster is good enough that Aaron Rodgers would prefer to play on it if he’s not in Green Bay.

Adding Julio Jones before adding Aaron Rodgers could potentially ramp up Rodgers’ desire to be traded out of Green Bay and specifically to the Denver Broncos.

Again, not that he wouldn’t want to come as the team is presently constructed, but having Jones in the fold might give him that extra incentive.
