Con: Three AFC West games to end the season

The Broncos close the season with a tough three-game set as games within the division are generally always highly contested, particularly if there is a lot riding on them.

In Weeks 16-18, there could be plenty riding on these games.

The Broncos close the season at the Las Vegas Raiders followed by at the Los Angeles Chargers. They then close the season at home against the defending two-time AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs.

This may not be seen as a con by all, however. If the Broncos are playing meaningful football at this stage of the season, then these could be some very important games. At the same time, if you’re going to have three divisional games in a row, it may as well be at the end of the season, since those games will likely take a lot out of a team.

The Broncos have been poor against the AFC West in recent years and went 1-5 against the division last year, being swept by the Raiders and the Chiefs.

Of course, if the Broncos are sitting at 4-10 at this stage of the season (let’s hope not), these games won’t matter much at all.
