Week 3 vs. New York Jets

From playing against the No.1 overall pick to the No. 2 overall pick, the Broncos host Zach Wilson and the New York Jets in their home opener. This is probably the most winnable game on the entire schedule, seeing as it will take place in Denver.

The Broncos have won four of the last five meetings with the Jets and like the other team that plays in New York, the Jets haven’t been good for a long time.

They have a head coach in Robert Saleh and the rookie Wilson will likely be starting at quarterback. Like the situation in Jacksonville, if things are going to turn around in New York, it probably won’t happen this early in the year.

The Jets also have not won a game in Denver since 2010.

Could the Broncos get off to a 3-0 start? They certainly have things lined up in the right spots for that to happen. The combined 2020 record of the teams they will play in the first three weeks was 9-39.

You can’t ask for a more favorable schedule to start the season than that.
