The Denver Broncos know their 2021 opponents.

The team had a pretty successful offseason so far, with the additions of cornerbacks Kyle Fuller and Ronald Darby, and what initially appears to be a successful draft class, with another addition to the cornerback group in Patrick Surtain II.

There will be some very intriguing matchups to pay attention to in pretty much every game. We will focus on just a couple of them here.

Let’s start off by talking about the turnover battle.

The Broncos were the worst in the league in 2020 with a turnover differential of -16. As a team, they threw 23 interceptions and lost nine fumbles. They intercepted 10 passes and recovered six fumbles.

Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers, who are on this year’s schedule and who were on last year’s schedule as well, had a turnover differential of +9, good for fifth-best.

The Broncos were in quite a few games in 2020 but came up short, and a lot had to do with turnovers. If they can clean those up and not make silly mistakes, they should see plenty more success in the upcoming season.

Hopefully, with the additions the team made this offseason, they will be near the top of the league in takeaways, rather than dead last.
