By many experts, Owusu-Koramoah was a first-round pick. The reason for his fall in the draft seems to be related to a perceived heart problem, but he has recently pushed back against those reports.

Last year’s Butkus Award winner, Owusu-Koramoah is outstanding in coverage and can match up against tight ends and running backs. Does that sound like something the Broncos could use?

He was probably the best coverage linebacker in this draft and one of the better to come from the college ranks in years. His ball skills are way above average for a linebacker as well.

This is not to knock the player the Broncos did draft in the second round, because Javonte Williams looks like a beast. However, the Broncos did trade up to get him and they may not have even needed to.

Instead, Owusu-Koramoah fell all the way down to the 52nd overall pick where he was taken by the Cleveland Browns.

Whether or not there actually is a heart issue remains to be seen, but it’s quite possible that the Browns got the steal of the entire draft in this player.
