Denver Broncos: Top team needs after the 2021 NFL Draft
By Sonny Cohen
Right Tackle
The offensive line over the last few years has been revamped and reinvigorated by the improved play of left tackle Garrett Bolles. He, along with Dalton Risner has created a formidable left side of the offensive line.
On the right side, Graham Glasgow was a good reinforcement for the right guard position. But that right tackle position has been one of a revolving door last season with Demar Dotson and Elijah Wilkinson splitting time as the starter.
That issue could have been solved by the return of Ja’Wuan James, but the 2019 free agency addition suffered a potentially season-ending Achilles injury and his future in Denver is now up in the air completely, if not over.
Without James, there are a number of free agents on the market that could provide solid to good play for a fraction of the price. Demar Dotson is still available and so he could be a useful addition to the team if necessary.
There are of course questions about Lloyd Cushenberry III’s performances in the season. But the Broncos have options there, they could slide Graham Glasgow to center and start Netane Muti. Or even give Quinn Meinerz a chance at starting there.
