The Best Case Scenario, Picks 23-32

The Scenario: After a long offseason of hoping against hope, both Aaron Rodgers and Broncos Country get what they want. The addition of Aaron Rodgers to the Denver Broncos makes them instant Super Bowl contenders and will give Broncos Country hope that they haven’t felt since “The Sheriff” was still in town.

In all seriousness, Aaron Rodgers would elevate this Broncos squad to a new level, and make them a serious threat to come out of the AFC. Without Rodgers, the ceiling could be capped for Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. Picking in the late twenties seems unlikely without a drastic change at quarterback, so for this scenario, Rodgers is traded to the Denver Broncos.

In this case, Rodgers finds his home in Denver, and the Broncos trade multiple first-rounders to the Green Bay Packers in exchange. George Paton has shown his ability to maneuver the middle and late rounds masterfully in the 2021 NFL Draft, and we can expect a similar showing in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Next. Drew Lock is Safe for Now. dark

Overall, if the Denver Broncos land Rodgers, no one will be talking about draft capital. The expectation of Super Bowls in the Mile High City will return, and Broncos Country will finally be at ease about their quarterback situation for the foreseeable future.
