Pick Analysis. Oregon. 59. Scouting Report. OT. PeneiSewell. 6. player

Pick by Lou Scataglia

You wouldn’t think that a team who just went 10-6 would have many holes, but the Dolphins do.  Their receiver core needs an upgrade and their offensive line is still a work in progress.

Being that Ja’Marr Chase was just drafted to the Bengals, the Dolphins are left with either trading down or sticking at 6, and I think they stick at 6 to select Penei Sewell out of Oregon.

Sewell is a massive specimen who was the best lineman in the country as a true freshman.  Still just 20, Sewell presents an All-Pro/Hall of Fame upside.

He would most likely find a home on the right side of the offensive line unless the Phins want to move Austin Jackson over.

Either way, Sewell would be a massive upgrade for the Dolphins offensive line and would afford more time for Tua in the pocket and hopefully help in his development.
