TravisEtienne. player. 16. RB. Clemson. 30. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Pick by Chandler Hyler

The Buffalo Bills selected Etienne with the 30th overall pick to put their dynamic offense over the top.

As the Kansas City Chiefs’ biggest threat in the AFC, this gives them the ability to match up point for point with them. Etienne is a big play waiting to happen and is a three-down back. He can catch the ball out of the backfield just as well as he can run. Pass-blocking is something he excels at as well.

Buffalo had 11 carries from their running backs in the AFC Championship Game for a total of 41 yards, while quarterback Josh Allen led the team with 7 carries for 88 yards.

Etienne gives them a legitimate threat in the backfield and will keep any defense honest. Adding Emmanuel Sanders into the mix as well, watch out Kansas City.

Josh Allen also will have a contract coming up soon, having a young weapon on a cheap rookie contract would help soften the blow of Allen becoming the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL.
