Pick Analysis. 49. Texas. SamuelCosmi. 29. player. Scouting Report. OT

Pick by Jordan Lopez

With some of the better wide receivers taken in the early parts of the first round, the best available player that will help Aaron Rodgers immediately is offensive tackle Samuel Cosmi.

This might not be a popular pick for the Packers but Cosmi is one of the most versatile offensive linemen in the draft. Cosmi can play a variety of positions. Having a player play multiple positions on the offensive line can solve a lot of problems. He has mentioned he is comfortable playing right or left tackle.

Cosmi also mentioned that he takes pride in his stance so he can be good playing guard spots on the line too. This is such a big advantage to have as a player because teams will love to have a player like Samuel Cosmi. The Packers also had David Bakhtiari out for the playoffs due to injury, so having a player like Cosmi can fix a lot of issues, especially in times like this.

Green Bay will most likely try to get a weapon for Rodger’s day one but Cosmi would not be a bad pick if he is available. The Packers shouldn’t reach for a receiver if they don’t think they are valuable on day one. There will be a lot of good ones on day two of the draft too.
