Denver Broncos: Full first-round mock draft with a QB at 9?
Pick by Cameron Parker
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a fascinating prospect and one who very might not be available at the Cleveland Browns pick but with where this team is and linebacker position, Owusu-Koramoah would be an electric pick for this defense.
One of the questions here is whether the measurements are a turn-off for teams. In my opinion, tape trumps everything. Owusu-Koramoah is a gifted player capable of playing linebacker, safety, or nickel corner. He is also one of the trade-down candidates for the Denver Broncos if they move from 9 overall.
Owusu-Koramoah is a Su’a Cravens to the max. He loves the contact and does a great job avoiding contact to get tackles. Like Jabril Cox though he has to do a better job of shedding blocks especially at his size. But fit him with an exciting defense upfront and secondary Owusu-Koramoah would make the defense be a little better.
JOK is a tremendous athlete and I know he will end up as a first-round caliber talent. The question is whether teams view his size as a negative.
If the Denver Broncos don’t rule out a trade back, Owusu-Koramoah would be a great addition to the Denver defense. The Broncos would do wonders with him under Vic Fangio.
