Denver Broncos: Full first-round mock draft with a QB at 9?
Pick by Travis Wakeman
The Washington Football Team is going to be one that slings the football around the yard this season after bringing in Ryan Fitzpatrick to play quarterback. There are other needs in this spot, but Kadarius Toney adds another versatile weapon to that offense.
With Terry McLaurin already on the roster and Curtis Samuel signing as a free agent, the addition of Toney gives WFT three good options for the veteran Fitzpatrick.
Toney can line up on the outside or in the slot but it is out of the slot where he should make the most impact, at least as a rookie.
He is an explosive playmaker but can make an impact with or without the ball in his hands. He is the kind of guy who will make defenses account for him at all times.
Though the Football Team won the division last year, the offense could have been better and Toney is a guy who will give the offense a chance to be more flexible and creative.
