South Carolina. JayceeHorn. player. 32. Pick Analysis. CB. 16. Scouting Report

Pick by Brandon Miller

I think this pick could go one of two ways: WR or CB. After losing Patrick Peterson this offseason, corner became the Cardinals’ top roster need.

They added Malcolm Butler, but he’s recently turned 31 and may not have a ton left in the tank. AJ Green also joined the Cardinals and isn’t exactly known for his availability, but I think CB is still the pick here.

This is a great corner class, and one doesn’t necessarily need to be taken in the first round to fill their need, but Horn is too talented to pass on. A true lockdown player, he has an argument for the best corner in this class. He routinely shut down top weapons for South Carolina last year, including the unicorn Kyle Pitts.

The son of NFL legend Joe Horn, Jaycee is only 21 years old and can automatically give them an upgrade on the boundary. Vance Joseph already added JJ Watt to his roster. Give them Horn and they’d have a formidable defense to go with a blooming offense piloted by Murray.

He’ll be a pro bowl corner for the next decade, and keep putting the clamps on WR1s in the NFL. This would be a home run pick for Arizona.
