Pick Analysis. WR. JaylenWaddle. 11. player. 31. Scouting Report. Alabama

Pick by Sayre Bedinger

The New York Jets added Kenny Golladay in free agency. They are getting Saquon Barkley back healthy.

They also added Kyle Rudolph. They signed John Ross III.

There are playmakers galore in New York but Jaylen Waddle is a game-changer.

The Giants, for whatever reason, have not been rumored to be interested in the quarterback position this offseason. Dave Gettleman — and Joe Judge for that matter — is bought into Daniel Jones.

If that’s the case, get this guy as many weapons as possible and protect yourself from the disaster that was 2020 in terms of injuries.

The Giants, if they could stay healthy in this scenario, would have so many weapons on that side of the ball and Joe Judge — a special teams guy — would also be getting one of the most dynamic return specialists to come from the college ranks in some time.

Although he suffered an injury in 2020, Waddle is a tough, explosive playmaker whose abilities after the catch and acceleration are Tyreek Hill-like. He’s a star in the making.
