Player fans should hope doesn’t land there: Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

Following a trade with the Baltimore Ravens on Friday, the Chiefs already acquired a player Broncos fans likely didn’t want to see them get when they obtained offensive tackle Orlando Brown, Jr.

The Chiefs were dominated in the Super Bowl but the main reason they lost the game was because of the fact that Patrick Mahomes was running for his life every time he dropped back to throw.

Acquiring Brown was a massive move for the Chiefs, who also added Kyle Long and Joe Thuney to the offensive line this offseason. With the O-line looking much better than it did in Super Bowl LV, what is the one thing you don’t want to see the Chiefs get?

Another dynamic weapon for Mahomes.

Having given up their first-round choice to get Brown, the Chiefs don’t select until No. 58. But can you imagine if they were able to get Rondale Moore with that selection? That would be ridiculous.

Moore is a player who Andy Reid would fall in love with for his versatility and ability to do anything asked of him, including playing special teams, coming out of the backfield or being used for some gadget plays.

Moore is a dynamic talent but he comes with some very serious injury concerns which have knocked down his draft status in a big way. Over the course of the last two seasons, he has played in a total of seven games.

That said, a team that can afford to take a chance on him could be getting a game-breaking talent. What team can afford to take a risk more than the one that has been to back-to-back Super Bowls?

Having Moore on the same field with Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman could be downright scary for an opposing defense.
