TRADE:

Denver Broncos receive pick 67
Houston Texans receive pick 71, 2022 5th-round pick

With the 67th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Spencer Brown, tackle, Northern Iowa.

At last, the team’s long-time tackle issues have been resolved.

Brown is a 6-foot-8, 311-pound right tackle from the University of Northern Iowa.

Some will view Brown’s height as a problem, because of balance and leverage issues. However, with Mike Munchak coaching him up, I am confident that he could be very successful in the NFL.

An example of a tall offensive lineman who had tremendous success in the NFL? Hall of Fame tackle Jonathan Ogden, who stood at 6-foot-9, 345 pounds.

The Broncos need to look to the future of the right tackle position with Ja’Wuan James maybe not being the long-term answer for the team. The issue with James is that he can’t seem to stay healthy.
