Russell Okung

Though Russell Okung is only 32 years old, it seems like he has been in the league forever and his career is clearly winding down.

Okung spent just one season in Denver and though he didn’t play badly, the team chose to pick up the option on his contract following that season, and he, like Schofield and Green, joined the Chargers. In his first season in L.A., Okung made the Pro Bowl.

Like Schofield, Okung was with the Panthers this past season after the Chargers traded him there for Trai Turner.

Okung played in seven games for the Panthers, all starts.

If Okung’s career in the league is to continue, it will likely come later this summer if a team has an offensive tackle go down with injury or if a team just determines that it is too thin at tackle and could use a veteran presence.

Okung has made two Pro Bowls while making 131 starts across his playing career. Another division rival, the Kansas City Chiefs, could be a team that gives Okung a look.
